Surreal toque resembles shaving brush. The pillbox shaped crown is wrapped in folds of velvet. The top is an amazing brush concocted from thousands of tiny partridge feathers, standing on end. The top of the pillbox is see-through mesh, but you really can't tell how he did it by looking through. I think it is a long cloth tape with thousands of partridge feathers sewn on, then wrapped in a spiral with some sort of spacer between the layers to keep them spaced perfectly.
